Dear Friend and Colleagues,
I am delighted to be the President of the society again. I will rely greatly on Kamal Ojha who is the soul of ISRSFT. Without him the society would probably no longer exist. I take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude for all the work he has done.
Today, Reproductive surgery and especially tubal surgery is not very popular in western countries compared to the place devoted to ART. However, in Eastern countries such as India and China, reproductive surgery is practiced on a great scale. Fortunately, these countries are well represented in our society and we are going to enhance the relationship between us. Kamal is in charge to organize events in India and particularly with the Indian Fertility Society (IFS) and we have recently conducted a webinar with them, which precludes further commitment between IFS and ISRSFT. For my side I am in close relationship with our Vice -President Pr Jing Guang (Beijing University) who has already accepted to conduct a workshop in China in 2026. Thank you to all of them!
Our next event organized by Kamal will take place 6th – 7th November, just out of London in the very nice Karl Storz Technology Centre and I hope that a lot of members will attend: the program is, I think ,very attractive.
I am open to all your suggestions and comments in order to develop our society. Even if ISRSF is rather small today, it plays an important role to perpetuating and teaching reproductive surgery in the forthcoming years.
